APG, a pension provider in the Netherlands, completed the acquisition of a 97% stake in Wellder Senior Assets, a Spanish real estate investment company, from Renta Corporacion, a specialized Spanish real estate company. Financial terms were not disclosed. By taking the majority stake, APG provides the massive institutional capital required to dominate a niche market, while Renta Corporación provides the local execution and asset management expertise.
