Valgroup, a provider of flexible, laminated and rigid packaging products, completed the acquisition of Nuovaplast, a plastic fabrication company in Italy, from IGI Private Equity, a private equity firm. Financial terms were not disclosed. "With this operation we want to diversify the group's core business, also geographically, by expanding our presence in Europe," Luigi Geronimi, Valgroup President.
