Phoenix Contact Group, a manufacturer of industrial automation, interconnection, and interface solution, completed the acquisition of iS5 Communications, a provider of cybersecure digital energy cloud platforms. Financial terms were not disclosed. Phoenix Contact’s close and successful cooperation with iS5 Communications started in 2018. The product range of iS5 Communications and the expertise of its employees in the field of critical infrastructure complements Phoenix Contact´s offerings. Phoenix Contact will maintain and further expand its investment to ensure that the technologies, the know-how, as well as the existing product portfolio of iS5 Communications will not only be continued but further developed and expanded.
