Private equity firms Energy and Minerals Group and Vision Blue Resources completed a $150m investment in Denham Capital-backed Serra Verde, a mining company. “This is a compelling opportunity to both enable the sustainable energy transition and provide a new source of large scale production of both heavy and light rare earth elements outside Asia, which are utilized today in the manufacturing of 90% of all permanent magnets.
