Synopsis
Koole Terminals, a provider in integrated and innovative storage, processing, and logistics solutions for liquid bulk products, completed the acquisition of Maastank, a tank terminal for the storage and handling of vegetable oils, fats, specialities, oleochemicals, base oils, and feedstock for biofuel, from Dekker Group, a logistics company that offers tank storage, transportation, cleaning, laboratory, and administration services. Financial terms were not disclosed. “The acquisition of Maastank is one of the many steps in our strategy to meet the challenges in energy transition. In order to further develop and strengthen a future-focused infrastructure and service portfolio, it is necessary to keep investing in expanding and ensuring an optimal supply chain for our customers in biofuel feedstocks and vegetable oil products,” John Kraakman, Koole Terminals CEO.
