Essent Group, a holding company, agreed to acquire bank holding and financial services companies Agents National Title and Boston National Holdings from Finance of America Companies, a consumer lending company, for $100m. “Title insurance is a natural complement to our MI business with relatively low and stable loss ratios historically.
