Snowflake, a cloud data warehousing company, agreed to acquire LeapYear, a software company that enables analysis and sharing of sensitive data. Financial terms were not disclosed. LeapYear’s technology has shown that it can enable the largest enterprises to break down data silos, form data partnerships, and accelerate the adoption of machine learning.
