I Squared Capital-backed VLS Environmental Solutions, a Houston-based environmental services company, completed the acquisition of SRE Environmental, a waste management solutions company. Financial terms were not disclosed. “The acquisition of SRE adds valuable talent, high-quality assets, and new customer relationships that enhance our nationwide suite of sustainable solutions for our clients. The combination of SRE and our new waste facility in Quartzsite, Arizona, which will offer non-hazardous solidification and waste-to-energy processing capabilities, accelerates our ability to meet the growing needs of our clients in the western market,” John Magee, VLS CEO.
