Constellation Software, a technology company, agreed to acquire the loan origination system business of Intercontinental Exchange-backed Black Knight, an integrated technology, work flow automation, data, and analytic solutions to the mortgage and real estate industries. Financial terms were not disclosed. The deal has come under scrutiny from the Federal Trade Commission amid concerns from some US lawmakers that the pricing power ICE would gain in the mortgage data market could lead to higher costs for consumers.
