Munich Re, an insurance company, led a $14m funding round in Starfish Space, an aviation and aerospace component manufacturing company. “Once the desired altitude is reached, the Otter detaches from the client satellite and boosts itself back up to LEO to conduct further servicing missions. A single Otter is designed to accomplish multiple LEO deorbit missions over its lifetime,” Ari Juster, Starfish Space Strategy and Operations lead.
