Synopsis

Okea, a Norway-based mid-to-late-life operator on the Norwegian continental shelf, completed the acquisition of a 28% stake in the Statfjord area from Equinor, a petroleum refining company, for $220m. Since production start in 1979, Statfjord has produced more than 5.1bn barrels of oil equivalent and created gross revenues of over NOK1675bn.
