Merck, an American multinational pharmaceutical company, completed the acquisition of Prometheus Biosciences, a clinical-stage biotechnology company, for $10.8bn. “The Prometheus acquisition accelerates our growing presence in immunology, augments our diverse pipeline and increases our ability to deliver patient value.
