The Chefs’ Warehouse, a distributor of the food ingredients to Chefs, completed the acquisition Hardie’s Fresh Foods, a provider of farm fruit and vegetables to foodservice and retailers, and Greenleaf Produce, a food distributor in Northern California. Financial terms were not disclosed. “Similar to the way we expanded into Protein, these recent moves in the Produce category allow us to reach more customers with more diverse inventory.
