Diamond Baseball completed the acquisition of Springfield Cardinals from St. Louis Cardinals.

Diamond Baseball, an organization that owns and operates select minor league clubs affiliated with Major League Baseball, completed the acquisition of Springfield Cardinals, a Minor League Baseball team, from St. Louis Cardinals, a Major League Baseball team.
