Vertex Growth and SBI, two venture capital firms in Japan, focuses on investments mainly in the information technology, biotechnology and life science sectors, led the $34m Series B round in Ace Turtle, a digital first, brand licensee business operating retail brands. "The funds will be utilised to develop cutting-edge technological tools that ensure seamless omnichannel operations, acquire licenses for new fashion and lifestyle brands, and recruit skilled talent across all levels to support the aggressive growth plans," Nitin Chhabra, Ace Turtle CEO.
