Sofinnova Partners, a venture capital firm, and NVentures, an American multinational technology company, led a $55.4m Series A round in Moon Surgical, a medical device company, with participation from Cathay Health, Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation, GT Healthcare Capital, Fred Moll, and Josh Makower. “Not even a year after the last one, this new financing is extremely exciting as it will enable us to focus on the upcoming commercial launch of our Maestro System. The support of Sofinnova Partners, NVIDIA, Fred Moll, Josh Makower, and our existing investor base is further validation of the mission of Moon Surgical and the achievements of our team,” Anne Osdoit, Moon Surgical CEO.
