Synopsis

Carrix, a marine terminal operator, completed the acquisition of Ceres Terminals, a stevedore and port terminal operator, from Macquarie Infrastructure, an infrastructure asset manager. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We are excited to expand SSA Marine’s footprint further into the rapidly growing Atlantic and Gulf Coast regions of the United States. Ceres has built an attractive portfolio of container, cruise, and general cargo operations and customer relationships which will enable us to serve our combined customers in more locations with more services,” Uffe Ostergaard, Carrix President and CEO.
