BVK,a pension fund, completed the acquisition of a 49.9% stake in Axpo Volt Beteiligung, a majority shareholder of transmission grid operator Swissgrid, from Axpo, a producer of renewable energy. Financial terms were not disclosed. “With this investment, we are combining our goal of long-term and sustainable performance with the inherently long-term nature of Swiss energy infrastructure,” Thomas Schönbächler, BVK CEO.
