Saint-Gobain completed the acquisition of United Paints and Chemicals.

Saint-Gobain, originally a mirror manufacturer, now also a producer of a variety of construction, high-performance, and other materials, completed the acquisition of United Paints and Chemicals, a producer of ready-mix mortars in Egypt who offers a large portfolio of products, services and training programs for craftsmen in the country. Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition of Drymix is in line with Saint-Gobain's strategic plan, "Grow & Impact", which aims to both strengthen the Group's leadership and accelerate its growth by enriching its range of solutions for light and sustainable construction.
