John Deere, a wholesale distributior of machinery and equipment, completed the acquisition of Smart Apply, a provider of precision spraying technologies to permanent crop agriculture producers globally. Financial terms were not disclosed. "This is a natural progression of the two companies' working relationship. It's a continuation of our commitment to high-value crop customers and dealers, further expanding a portfolio of solutions to help growers address their biggest challenges around labor, input costs, and regulatory requirements, and achieve environmental goals," Mike Bailey, John Deere Small Tractor & HVC Production System Director.
