APA Group to acquire Pilbara power assets from Alinta Energy for AUD1.7bn.

APA Group, a company which owns and operates natural gas and electricity assets, agreed to acquire Pilbara power assets from Alinta Energy, a company which focuses on the generation, transmission, and distribution of electric energy, for AUD1.7bn. “The acquisition of Alinta Energy Pilbara delivers APA a significant new growth platform in the attractive remotegrid energy sector.
