Synopsys completed the acquisition of PikeTec from ECM Equity Capital Management.

Synopsys, a provider of tools used in the design of an application-specific integrated circuit, completed the acquisition of PikeTec, a software development company, from ECM Equity Capital Management, a private equity firm. Financial terms were not disclosed. "As the automotive industry evolves towards software-defined vehicles, so does the need for more efficient and effective software testing methods.
