High Street Insurance Partners, a company that provides, provides a broad array of business insurance & risk management; employee benefits & human capital management; financial & retirement services; and personal insurance solutions, completed the acquisition of Benefit Indemnity, a program manager that builds and designs small group self-funded benefits plans and is a benefits general agent, providing self- and fully insured and individual health insurance. Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition provides HSIP with a strong agency with unique experience in the self-funded space. The partnership will help HSIP further expand into self-funded benefit plan design. The acquisition will allow BIC to hit the ground running and further expand its local presence. HSIP’s resources and expertise will allow for rapid expansion. Additionally, HSIP’s large national network will provide strong cross-selling opportunities for BIC.
