Infineon, a global semiconductor firm, completed the acquisition of 3db Access, a provider of integrated solutions for secure contactless access control for the automotive and construction industries. Financial terms were not disclosed. "With Smartphone manufacturers adding UWB capability in the latest and future generations of their products, the demand for UWB-capable devices is expected to grow significantly.
