Clayton, Dubilier & Rice-backed Sharp, a provider of contract packaging and clinical services, completed the acquisition of Berkshire Sterile Manufacturing, a provider of the sterile drug products possible for clinical use and small scale commercial requirements. Financial terms were not disclosed. “The market continues to demand expertise and capacity in sterile manufacturing due in part to the growth in rare and orphan disease therapies.
