Zurich Insurance Company to acquire Mapfre Yaşam Sigorta from Mapfre Sigorta.

Zurich Insurance Company, a Swiss insurance company, agreed to acquire Mapfre Yaşam Sigorta, a company that specializes in the underwriting of life insurance, from Mapfre Sigorta, a Spanish-owned insurer. Financial terms were not disclosed. In a joint statement made by the two companies, it was shared that the acquisition, which is expected to provide a positive impetus to the Turkish insurance sector, will be finalised following the approval of SEDDK.
