TreeHouse Foods, a private-label food and beverage manufacturer in North America, completed the acquisition of pickle branded assets from The JM Smucker Company, a company that manufactures and markets food products on a worldwide basis, for $20m. "This acquisition of assets is consistent with our strategy and enhances TreeHouse Foods' depth in our growing pickles category, allowing us to expand into Canada and thus positioning TreeHouse for continued success.
