Central Puerto to acquire 117MW solar farm from Scatec Solar and Equinor.

Central Puerto, an electric power generation company, agreed to acquire 117MW solar farm from Scatec Solar, an integrated independent solar power producer, and Equinor, an international energy company. Financial terms were not disclosed. “As previously reported, the company is analyzing investment alternatives that aim to increase its operations in the renewable energy market, both from wind and solar sources. The growth of the company with new investments in energy generation from renewable sources will allow it to explore and grow on the ground in new technological developments using models oriented towards the commitment to reduce the impact on the environment of its operations,” Central Puerto.
