Vishay Intertechnology, a discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components manufacturer, completed the acquisition of Newport wafer fabrication facility and operations of Nexperia, a semiconductor manufacturer, for $177m. “We welcome the highly skilled and dedicated employees at the Newport wafer fab into the Vishay family.
