TorQuest Partners and Sterling Group Partners V completed the acquisition of Bad Boy from The Sterling Group.

TorQuest Partners, a private equity firm based in Toronto, and Sterling Group Partners V, a 2020 vintage buyout fund, completed the acquisition of Bad Boy, a manufacturer of high-performance zero-turn riding lawn mowers, from The Sterling Group, an operationally focused middle market private equity firm. Financial terms were not disclosed.
