TPG Capital backed-Columbia Asia completed the acquisition of Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care from Sime Darby and Ramsay Health Care for MYR5.7bn.

TPG Capital backed-Columbia Asia, a private healthcare company, completed the acquisition of Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care, which is involved in management of hospitals and provision of healthcare-related services, from Sime Darby, a Malaysian trading conglomerate, and Ramsay Health Care, an Australian multinational healthcare provider, for MYR5.7bn. “While the hospital business is a great asset, we have always maintained our focus on our core trading businesses of Motors and Industrial. The offer from Columbia Asia was one we could not refuse.
