Decathlon to acquire Bergfreunde from Backcountry.

Decathlon, a global sporting goods retailer, agreed to acquire Bergfreunde, an mountaineering and climbing equipment online shop, from Backcountry, an online specialty retailer. Financial terms were not disclosed. "We're proud of Bergfreunde's growth over Backcountry's 10-year ownership and look forward to watching its continued success with Decathlon.
