Saint-Gobain completed the acquisition of Menkol Industries.

Saint-Gobain, a manufacturing company, completed the acquisition of Menkol Industries, an Indian manufacturer in high-added value waterproofing systems. Financial terms were not disclosed. This acquisition strengthens Saint-Gobain's Construction Chemicals position in added-value specialty building materials in the very dynamic Indian market. Menkol Industries is specialized in high-performance waterproofing systems for building foundations that perfectly complement the existing Preprufe® patented waterproofing membranes from Saint-Gobain's recent GCP acquisition. This acquisition is a decisive step in Saint-Gobain's aim to build a leading technical waterproofing platform in India.
