Silver Lake-backed Vertex withdrew its offer to acquire Pagero for $555m.

Silver Lake-backed Vertex, an indirect tax solutions provider, withdrew its offer to acquire Pagero, an information technology solutions provider, for $555m. Pagero shareholders who had undertaken to accept Vertex’s tender offer have been released from those obligations.
