PTCL to acquire Telenor Pakistan from Telenor Group for $487m.

PTCL, a national telecommunication company in Pakistan, agreed to acquire Telenor Pakistan, a Pakistani wireless network operator, from Telenor Group, a majority state-owned multinational telecommunications company, for $487m. The combined infrastructure assets of both entities are so complementary that the integration is expected to unlock value in synergies mainly from networks.
