Maabjerg BioEnergy Leverandørforening completed the acquisition of Maabjerg Energy Center BioGas.

Maabjerg BioEnergy Leverandørforening, a cooperative owned by 135 farmers, all of whom are suppliers to the local biogas plant, completed the acquisition of Maabjerg Energy Center BioGas, a biogas plant, from Struer Energi and Vestforsyning. Financial terms were not disclosed. "We would really like to have helped to expand the share of renewable energy in this area, but due to the rules for publicly owned companies, we would have been a constant brake block," Kjeld Graversgård, Struer Energi Chairman.
