Knop Investments completed the acquisition of a majority stake in JOYinCARE from Karmijn Kapitaal.

Synopsis

Knop Investments, a private equity firm, completed the acquisition of a majority stake in JOYinCARE, a Dutch healthcare equipment manufacturer and service provider that holds a strong position in elderly, disabled and rehabilitation care, from Karmijn Kapitaal, a Dutch private equity fund investing in companies led by a gender diverse management team. Financial terms were not disclosed. “With Karmijn as the managing shareholder, we have professionalized JOYinCARE and further developed our products and service and maintenance services. Our next ambition is to grow further and make an international impact with our innovative lifting and transfer aids. We have now taken the first steps for this with Karmijn. With Knop Investments we can realize our growth ambitions in this new phase. Our mission is to keep healthcare available and affordable despite the current challenges,” Robert van Leeuwen, JOYinCARE Group CEO.
