Platinum Equity to acquire Horizon Organic from Danone.

Platinum Equity, a private equity firm, agreed to acquire Horizon Organic, the largest USDA-certified organic dairy brand in the world, from Danone, a French multinational food-products corporation. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Horizon Organic is an iconic name in dairy that is well recognized and beloved by consumers.
