Synopsis
Bpifrance, a public sector investment bank, INCO Ventures, an AMF-licensed fund manager, and SEB Alliance, a corporate venture capital firm, led a €34m funding round in Vulkam, a deeptech company. Financial terms were not disclosed. "I would like to thank all our investors for their commitment and sharing our vision. This consists in industrializing the production of amorphous metals in France and shaking up the very traditional metallurgy sector. Thanks to the fundamental research that prevailed in the creation of Vulkam and our know-how in thermomolding manufacturing processes, we have strong barriers to entry, accompanied by major environmental advantages. It is these points that convinced the Inco Ventures impact fund and the SEB Group to join the Vulkam adventure," Sébastien Gravier, Vulkam President and Founder.
