Kontron, a German-based multinational company which designs and manufactures embedded computer modules, boards and systems, completed the acquisition of Katek, a European electronics company, for €217m. "With the acquisition of Katek, we are expanding our presence in the high-growth area of clean energy in a targeted manner and strengthening the aerospace division at Kontron with the Katek subsidiary Nexte," Hannes Niederhauser, Kontron CEO.
