Grupo Bimbo completed the acquisition of Itacare from Linzor Capital Partners.

Grupo Bimbo, a Mexico-based baking company, completed the acquisition of Itacare, the Uruguay-based producer of frozen breads and croissants, from Linzor Capital Partners, the Chile-based private equity firm. Financial terms were not disclosed. Grupo Bimbo’s acquisition of Pagnifique is aligned with its strategic expansion across Latin America, adding significant value to its portfolio of baked goods and frozen bakery products. The acquisition is expected to enhance Pagnifique’s growth prospects, product innovation and reach, benefiting consumers with an expanded range of quality options.
