InfraVia Capital Partners, a private equity firm, led a €45m Series C funding round in Planity, a company offering an instant online appointment booking service for beauty professionals, with participation from Crédit Mutuel Innovation, Revaia and Bpifrance. “Most of the existing players have adopted a traditional marketplace model like the one of Booking.com or TheFork. Clients pay a percentage of the total amount of each reservation. But we realized that this model wasn’t working as some companies have been around for 15 years, but they never really reached a significant scale in Europe,” Antoine Puymirat, Planity CEO.
