Mutua to acquire a 87.1% stake in Orienta Capital.

Mutua Madrileña, a Spanish insurer, agreed to acquire a 87.1% stake in Orienta Capital, a private equity firm. Financial terms were not disclosed. “Mutua Madrileña reinforces its strategy of geographic and service diversification in the field of asset management and confirms the success of this alliance, which stands out for its profitable and sustained growth in recent years and for its attractive and successful value proposition.” He also points out that “we are taking another step in our strategy of becoming the leading non-banking asset management entity in Spain and the main alternative to banks, with a global offer of services and products,” Ignacio Garralda, Grupo Mutua Chairman.
