John Laing Group to acquire a 50% stake in Pioneer Transmission from Duke Energy.

John Laing Group, an infrastructure investor, agreed to acquire a 50% stake in Pioneer Transmission, an electric power transmission, from Duke Energy, an energy company. Financial terms were not disclosed. The transaction is expected to close by year-end 2024 and is subject to customary closing conditions, including approvals from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission.
