Schibsted Delivery, an ecommerce and distribution services arm of Schibsted, agreed to acquire newspaper distribution business of Amedia, a Norwegian media company. Financial terms were not disclosed. "This agreement represents a significant strengthening of our long-term strategy to offer a wide range of distribution products, available to as many customers as possible, in as many days as possible. With over 160 years of experience in newspaper delivery and an ever-growing presence in the online shopping segment, we are now taking new steps to consolidate and strengthen our position," Hans Kristian Hallén-Hasaas, Schibsted Delivery Managing Director.
