Synopsis

Macquarie Green Energy, an investment services firm, and Climate Opportunities Fund, an investment firm, completed the acquisition of Galehead Development, a US development platform for onshore pre-construction energy projects, Treaty Oak Clean Energy, a US renewable energy developer specializing in US-based solar and battery storage projects, Aula Energy, an Australian and New Zealand based onshore renewable energy business, Blueleaf Energy, a pan-Asian renewable energy platform, Outer Dowsing, a UK offshore wind development project, and Forliance, a German headquartered carbon project developer. Financial terms were not disclosed. “Over several years, we have worked closely with specialist teams and partners across our platform to create, acquire and grow a portfolio of companies and projects diversified across geographies, technologies, power markets and development stages. The portfolio seeks to accelerate the green transition through its extensive, high quality development pipelines and operational projects that are well aligned to national targets and policies,” Edward Northam, MAM Green Investments Head of Core Renewables.
