The Ecclesia Group completed the acquisition of Asigest Deutschland Versicherungsmakler from Asigest Group.

The Ecclesia Group, a German insurance broker, completed the acquisition of Asigest Deutschland Versicherungsmakler, a specialist broker for sea and container freight, from Asigest Group, an international group of independent insurance brokers. Financial terms were not disclosed. “The acquisition of Asigest Deutschland is particularly interesting for us with the associated access to the Asian market. We have hardly been active in this market with many attractive growth opportunities. That will change now. The acquisition underlines our claim to further specialisation and our international ambitions. Even with regard to the performance and solution portfolio of Asigest Germany, the purchase was only a logical step,” Richard Renner, SCHUNCK Group CEO.
