Genesis Capital and Crescent Capital-backed National Dental Care are bidding to acquire Pacific Smiles for AUD316m.

Genesis Capital, an independent investment and merchant banking firm, and Crescent Capital-backed National Dental Care, an Australian-wide network of dental practices, are bidding to acquire Pacific Smiles for up to AUD316m. The board of Pacific Smiles rejected the offer from Genesis Capital, and continues to recommend the scheme agreement with NDC. Pacific Smiles is a Australian branded dental group, currently operating over 120 dental centres. Pacific Smiles owns and operates the Pacific Smiles Dental and nib Dental Care centres across the East Coast of Australia with over 800 dentists, assisted by more than 1.6k support staff, attend over 1m patient appointments at Pacific Smiles centres each year.
