Lallemand completed the acquisition of bioenergy enzymes business from BASF.

Lallemand, a leader in the development, production and marketing of yeast, bacteria and specialty ingredients, completed the acquisition of bioenergy enzymes business from BASF, a chemicals company. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We see the capabilities of BASF’s bioenergy team and its Spartec products and pipeline technologies as highly complementary with ours. By combining resources and R&D programs, we will be even better placed to meet our global customers’ requirements," Angus Ballard, LBDS President and General Manager.
