CVC Capital Partners completed the acquisition of a minority stake in URUS Group from Pon Holdings.

CVC Capital Partners, a private equity firm, completed the acquisition of a minority stake in URUS Group, a company specializing in in delivering products and services for dairy and beef artificial insemination genetics, reproduction, and farm management data systems, from Pon Holdings, a Dutch conglomerate in the transportation sector. Financial terms were not disclosed. CVC will take a stake in the company and will act as a supportive shareholder in close cooperation with existing shareholders Pon Holdings and Cooperative Resources International. CVC Capital Partner’s broad networks, deep expertise and financial resources will enable URUS to pursue the next phase of its ambitious growth plan, and further accelerate the development of its business and product portfolio for its members and clients.
